Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI. You will create golden paths and reusable blueprints to empower teams to deploy AI-powered services securely and efficiently, with a low-code front-end for non-technical users.

You'll bring 8+ years in software or platform engineering, strong AWS and Terraform experience, and proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, and Backstage.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Kubernetes experience and templated CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of platform engineering with golden paths/blueprints.
• Experience with LLM platform services such as AWS Bedrock.
• Proficiency in Python and service scaffolding (Backstage).
• English proficiency at an advanced level.

AI Platform Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI. You’ll create golden paths and reusable blueprints that allow teams across the organization to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered services securely and efficiently. With a strong product mindset over a traditional SRE approach, you'll develop a self-service platform that abstracts away AI infrastructure complexity, standardizes access to LLMs, and accelerates delivery of AI features into production. What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of platform engineering principles including golden paths and blueprints.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building templated CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with service scaffolding and catalogs such as Backstage.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LLM platform services such as AWS Bedrock configuration.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Product mindset for internal tools.
• Developer Experience (DevEx) focus.
• MLOps experience including model deployment and versioning.
• FinTech industry experience.
• Familiarity with GitOps.
