Job summary

Omilia in Chile is seeking an AI Developer / Software Engineer to evolve our Drive-Thru Voice AI for Quick Serve Restaurants. You will work across engineering, AI/LLM, conversation analysis and customer work on a live system used at scale.

You will prototype AI features, fine-tune LLMs for voice ordering, review dialogs to improve accuracy and user experience, and collaborate with customers to gather requirements, while communicating clearly in English and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in CS, Computational Linguistics, NLP, or related field.
• At least 1 year of software development or AI engineering experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Aptitude for analytical and creative thinking with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build features and fix bugs for Drive-Thru Voice AI and deploy releases.
• Integrate with client systems as required.
• Prototype AI features and fine-tune LLMs for voice ordering.
• Review real drive-thru dialogs to improve accuracy and UX.
• Gather business requirements and implement application logic.
• Shift focus across engineering, AI/LLM, analysis, and customer work as needed.
• Communicate in English with technical and customer-facing stakeholders and meet deadlines.
