Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to advance people-related processes through practical AI-powered solutions in Chile.

You will partner with HR functions to uncover pain points and translate them into scalable, measurable improvements, balancing hands-on building with strategic problem-solving. Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development, product management, HRIS, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, HR Operations, or business systems.
At least 2 years in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level roles.
Direct experience building and deploying AI agents and automations using tools such as Glean, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
Hands-on development experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, including working with APIs, integrations, and enterprise data.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with leaders across Payroll, Compensation, Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Development, and HR Operations to identify AI opportunities and clearly define the problem, target users, and measures of success.
Map HR processes from end to end, including hire-to-retire, recruit-to-onboard, pay cycle, and compensation cycle, to eliminate unnecessary steps and reduce manual work.
Own and prioritize the AI backlog for HR, ranking requests according to business value, required effort, risk, and strategic alignment.
Triaging incoming requests to determine the best approach, whether a custom AI agent, low-/no-code build, AI embedded within SaaS platforms such as Oracle HCM, or workflow automation.
Develop solutions addressing payroll questions and pre-payroll checks, compensation planning, Core HR data changes, policy inquiries, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and HR case handling.
Personally build and deploy AI agents, Claude Projects, and automated workflows, taking them from initial prototype through to full production.
Establish evaluation processes covering accuracy, fairness, privacy, and human review, applying AI governance, security, and privacy standards in collaboration with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Enterprise Architecture.
