Job summary

EPAM Systems in Chile seeks a highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / Conversational AI Architect to design, build, and deploy next-generation agentic AI systems. You will bridge frontier Generative AI models with enterprise production infrastructure, writing production-grade code and orchestrating multi-agent workflows across Gemini CX and Vertex AI Agent Builder.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level roles.
• Deep hands-on experience across Google Cloud AI ecosystem including Gemini CX, Google Cloud CCAI, AAM framework.
• Proven expertise in conversation engineering with Dialogflow CX and STT/TTS/telephony configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy autonomous multi-agent systems using Gemini CX and Vertex AI Agent Studio.
• Orchestrate hybrid conversational workflows with Dialogflow CX and state-machine tracking.
• Build RAG pipelines using Vertex AI Search to ground agents in enterprise knowledge bases.
• Develop and deploy secure backend integrations and webhooks with Cloud Run/Cloud Functions to connect CRMs/ERPs.
• Enforce data security with VPC-SC and IAM least-privilege, Model Armor constraints.
• Build telemetry pipelines streaming transcripts into BigQuery and use CCAI Insights for analytics.

We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / Conversational AI Architect to design, build, and deploy next-generation agentic AI systems. In this role, you will act as the engineering bridge between frontier Generative AI models and complex enterprise production infrastructure.
