Job summary

G-20 Group is seeking a motivated DeFi Developer & Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in blockchain tech, DeFi, and quantitative trading at our Zurich office. You will work with engineers, researchers, and traders on trading infrastructure and DeFi apps.

The role emphasizes programming fundamentals, curiosity about crypto markets, and a fast-paced, collaborative environment. On-site only in Zurich.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE/Math.
Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in Python/C++/Rust/TypeScript/Solidity.
Basic understanding of blockchain tech, smart contracts, and DeFi.
Familiarity with Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains.
Interest in crypto markets, algorithmic trading, and fintech.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; eager to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

Support development of trading algorithms, infrastructure, and blockchain connectivity.
Research DeFi protocols and on-chain data for opportunities.
Assist in developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts and apps.
Explore emerging blockchain technologies and development frameworks.
Collaborate with engineers and traders to support automated trading solutions.
Monitor DeFi protocol developments and share findings with the team.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and documentation.
