The assignment is planned for six months and aims to strengthen the team by ensuring stability, monitoring, incident handling and continuous service improvements within a DevOps-oriented setup.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience administering and operating the enterprise Kafka platform.
• Experience running Kafka in production environments with high availability requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation for platform operations.
• Solid Linux/Unix administration skills.

Aufgaben

• Operate, maintain and support the enterprise Apache Kafka streaming platform.
• Ensure stability, availability and reliable operation of business-critical integration services.
• Monitor Kafka clusters and identify performance or availability issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within production environments.
• Perform platform maintenance and operational engineering activities.
• Support application and integration teams using the Kafka platform.
• Analyse logs, platform behaviour and system dependencies during incidents.
• Contribute to platform optimisation, automation and continuous service improvement.
• Support the Managed File Transfer service used for secure data exchange with external partners.
• Work within a DevOps-oriented Data Integration Platform team.
• Participate in operational processes including incident, problem and change management.
