Job summary

Two.jobs GmbH in Affoltern am Albis seeks a Workshop Manager (80-100%) to lead and coordinate the local workshop with the operations manager. You will support eight mechanics and a technical all‑rounder on demanding tasks, organize and monitor workshop processes, and serve as a primary contact for customers.

The role also involves assisting with maintenance and repairs of aerial work platforms and vehicles, requiring basic mechanical training, leadership experience, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical training, ideally with diagnostician training.
• Knowledge in control, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
• Initial leadership experience in a similar role.
• Good IT user skills; keyboard use prominent in daily work.
• Valid category B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Affoltern workshop together with the operations manager.
• Support the 8 mechanics and the technical all‑rounder with demanding tasks.
• Organize, plan, and monitor workshop processes.
• Be a competent contact person for customers (external and internal).
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of aerial work platforms and vehicles.

What you will do with us

• You lead and coordinate the Affoltern workshop together with the operations manager.
• You support the 8 mechanics and the technical all-rounder with demanding tasks.
• You organize, plan, and monitor the workshop processes.
• You are a competent contact person for our external and internal customers.
• You assist with maintenance and repairs of various aerial work platforms and vehicles.

What you bring (besides motivation and humor)

• Basic mechanical training, ideally with additional training as a diagnostician
• Good knowledge in the fields of control, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics
• Initial leadership experience in a similar role
• Good IT user skills, as you will use the keyboard more often than the screwdriver
• A valid driver's license of category B (Category C? Jackpot!)
