Jobup is seeking a Workshop Manager for its Villars-Ste-Croix (VD) workshop. You will oversee technical and operational management, including maintenance planning and client follow-up, to ensure smooth workshop performance.

The ideal candidate has completed vocational training in mechanics and possesses strong organizational and leadership skills, with a plus for French/German bilinguals. Swiss residence near Lausanne is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee workshop technical and operational management.
• Handle quotes, invoicing, and parts orders.
• Plan maintenance and arrange external repairs as needed.
• Prospect and follow up with clients to grow business.
• Diagnose faults and perform maintenance on MEWPs at client sites and in the workshop.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a workshop manager at 100% (M/F) for our workshop in Villars-Ste-Croix (VD).

Your tasks

• Management of the workshop on technical and operational levels
• Administrative management (preparation of quotes, invoices, parts orders)
• Client prospecting and follow-up
• Implementation of maintenance processes
• Planning of maintenance work and external repairs
• Fault diagnosis, repairs, maintenance and servicing, on sites, at our clients and in our Villars-Ste-Croix (VD) workshops for MEWPs of all categories.

Qualifications and required profile

• Completed professional training in the mechanical field (preferably in agricultural or construction machinery) with further training in electrical, electronic and hydraulic fields (reading of diagrams)
• Knowledge of aerial work platforms = a plus
• Experience in a similar position
• Experience in on-site repairs
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent team management abilities
• Bilingual French/German = a plus
• Proficiency with computer tools
• Swiss or valid driving licence
• Ideal age 30 - 45 years
• Residence in the Lausanne region (max. 30 km)
• Good stress resistance, flexible and proactive. Robust and reliable personality, inspired by a sense of teamwork
