Job description

The Destinus team at Payerne is looking for a hands‑on Workshop Coordinator to keep the R&D workshop running smoothly across work preparation, warehouse and logistics, and workshop management. This is a broad operational role that touches everything between an incoming delivery and a finished part leaving the shop, suited to someone who is equally comfortable at a workbench, a stock shelf, or a planning board.

The ideal candidate has a machinist or polymechanic background and has since built solid experience across AVOR, warehousing, and production operations. They are organised, self‑sufficient, and not afraid to get their hands dirty when needed.

  • Handle logistics for the site{{:}} coordinate deliveries and shipments, manage supplier and carrier interactions, and ensure timely flow of materials between internal teams and external partners
  • Keep the workshop organized and operational{{:}} manage tool inventories, coordinate equipment maintenance scheduling, and maintain a clean and efficient production environment

  • Maintain accurate production and logistics data in the ERP system; support reporting on stock, lead times, and workshop status
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to keep information flowing and bottlenecks from forming
  • You don't need to be an expert in every area. We're looking for a strong manufacturing professional with experience in at least two of these areas and the willingness to develop across the others
Requirements
What You’ll Need

  • Experience with ERP systems for inventory, production orders, and logistics; comfortable maintaining accurate records
  • Organized and self-sufficient - able to manage multiple workstreams without close supervision
