Job summary

Angst+Pfister is seeking a Welding Supervisor to oversee stainless steel welding operations and ensure compliance with EN 15085-2 and applicable standards. The role involves qualification oversight, documentation management, and close collaboration with Production, Project Management, and Procurement to align welding tech with product requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring TIG welding expertise, orbital welding experience, and strong knowledge of welding codes such as EN ISO, ASME and AWS,

Qualifications

IWT or IWE certification (CL1/CL2) required.
Technical vocational training (e.g., Polymechanic) or equivalent.
Practical TIG welding experience and welding equipment operation.
Strong knowledge of EN ISO, ASME, AWS standards and NDT methods (VT, PT, UT, RT).
Experience in preparing/qualifying WPS/PQR and interpreting drawings/specs.

Responsibilities

Act as Welding Supervisor for stainless steel pipe and hose assemblies, ensuring EN 15085-2 compliance and industry standards.
Oversee welding qualification activities: procedures, tests, welder certifications, and approvals.
Develop, review, and maintain welding docs: WPS, PQR, repair docs, and NDT procedures.
Support Production/PM/Procurement with welding expertise on processes, materials, and product requirements.
Organize surveillance and recertification audits ensuring quality/regulatory compliance.
Lead qualification and implementation of new processes/materials with production teams.
