Destinus is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our growing logistics team in Waadt, Payerne. You will receive goods, inspect and store items, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate records in our ERP system, while collaborating with the Logistics Coordinator and production teams to optimize stock control and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Record all orders, deliveries, and stock movements in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator, purchasing, engineering, and production teams to optimize operations.
• Continuously improve and tidy the warehouse and register items without clear location or status.
• Identify and report potential delivery issues to the Purchasing department.
• Uphold safety and efficiency by maintaining organization and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the Flow Running: Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring every item is in its designated location and ready for dispatch.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Record all orders, deliveries, and stock movements in the ERP system, keeping inventory in and out fully up to date.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator, purchasing, engineering, and production teams to optimize warehouse operations and stock control.
• Optimize and Organize the Warehouse: Continuously improve and tidy the warehouse, sort out and register items that currently lack a clear location or status, and help implement a standard way of working across warehouse processes.
• Ensure Smooth Deliveries: Identify and report potential delivery issues, such as pending tariff payments or missing documentation, to the Purchasing department.
• Prioritize Safety and Efficiency: Implement and uphold workplace health and safety practices, keeping the warehouse organized and compliant.

What You’ll Need

Must-Have

• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and methodical approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams.

• Experience using ERP systems for warehouse management.

• Fluent in English—you’ll be working with international teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) warehouse modules.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role.
