Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company seeks a Voyage Calculation Analyst in Geneva to handle financial consolidation, voyage calculations, and cross-functional analysis. You will participate in coordinating and reconciling results, reviewing trade line parameters, and preparing management reports.

The role offers exposure to senior finance leadership and cross-department collaboration, with a focus on accuracy, analytics, and process improvement. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Finance or commercial background.
• Advanced Excel level / Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Commitment to a high level of work accuracy and precision.
• Capacity to drive change.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Open-minded and flexible.
• Excellent command of English and French.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and increase the reliability of financial information to make trade results transparent.
• Review and update parameters to process voyage calculations of each vessel on a trade line.
• Control and ensure revenues and cost allocation to calculate voyage results.
• Prepare a bi-monthly service report for Senior Management and liner department.
• Analyze variances using analytical reporting tools.
• Participate in transversal analysis under supervision of the Deputy CFO.
• Coordinate and reconcile results and data as part of a team.
• Contribute to improving tools with IT (BI, applications).
