Job summary

Symlab AG in Zürich is seeking a Jamming Product Line Architect to lead the technical direction of the jamming portfolio. Based at Technopark in Zurich, you will drive the long-term roadmap and act as the technical front leader for customers and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Sales, turning requirements into robust, scalable architectures for embedded Linux RF systems, APIs, and GUI components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience in jamming related systems, embedded systems, and system architecture (Linux preferred).
• Experience in RF systems, wireless communication or signal-processing applications.
• Strong SoC and embedded software development background.
• Proven experience defining and managing complex architectures and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication with customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the jamming product line.
• Act as the technical lead for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Translate market needs into system architectures and technical solutions.
• Drive innovation and assess RF, embedded, and Linux technologies.
• Ensure architectural consistency across APIs, SoC platforms, and interfaces.
• Oversee design of user-facing components, including web-based GUIs.
• Support bids, technical proposals, and high-level solution design.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the system.
