Job summary

Symlab AG, based at Technopark Zurich, seeks a Jamming Product Line Architect to lead the technical direction of its jamming systems portfolio. You will own the vision, translate market needs into robust architectures, and drive innovation across embedded, Linux-based RF platforms.

As a senior technical lead, you will ensure API consistency, support high-level designs, and collaborate with Product Management to align strategy with execution. Fluent English is mandatory; German is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Jamming related systems and embedded systems and system architecture, ideally in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the jamming product line
• Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Translate market and customer requirements into system architectures and technical solutions
• Drive innovation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to embedded, Linux-based, and RF systems
• Work closely with Product Management to align business strategy with technical execution
• Ensure architectural consistency across products, including APIs, SoC-based platforms, and system interfaces
• Oversee the design of user-facing components, including web-based GUIs
• Support bid activities, technical proposals, and high-level solution design
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the overall system architecture
