Job description

Vice President, International based in Switzerland.

We are seeking an accomplished international commercial leader to drive enterprise business growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee international sales organizations, shape regional go-to-market strategies, and take full ownership of commercial performance. You will work closely with industry leaders to identify high-potential markets, strengthen enterprise relationships, and expand business opportunities across multiple geographies. Combining strategic vision with hands‑on sales leadership, you will personally engage with key clients, lead complex negotiations, and develop valuable partnerships. You will also play a key role in building high-performing regional teams and navigating market-specific commercial challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to influence international expansion, accelerate revenue growth, and contribute directly to the success of a rapidly scaling global technology and services business.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and oversee international enterprise sales organizations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies in collaboration with industry General Managers, identifying priority markets, target clients, competitive positioning, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Take ownership of international sales performance, including new-client acquisition, customer retention, account expansion, revenue growth, and overall commercial results.
  • Identify and overcome market-specific barriers to business development, working closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Delivery teams to establish effective local partnerships, commercial arrangements, and operational frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior enterprise stakeholders, personally leading high-value sales opportunities, developing tailored proposals, defining business value, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Expand existing enterprise relationships by identifying opportunities across additional business units, countries, and service areas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Development, and industry teams to design and execute targeted campaigns that address local market needs and generate qualified business opportunities.
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that support market entry, strengthen client access, and improve service delivery, ensuring clear commercial objectives and measurable business outcomes.
  • Promote the integration of technology, AI‑driven solutions, and talent‑based services into enterprise sales strategies, ensuring teams can identify relevant opportunities and communicate their value effectively.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage high‑performing regional sales leaders, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to strengthen leadership capabilities and improve team results.
  • Establish consistent commercial management practices, including pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, account planning, and performance reporting, while addressing underperformance and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Partner with Finance and senior leadership to manage regional budgets, evaluate market investments, and direct resources toward the strongest growth opportunities.
  • Drive accountability and continuous improvement across international sales teams, ensuring clear ownership of accounts, opportunities, and commercial objectives.
  • Travel internationally when required to develop client and partner relationships, support regional teams, and strengthen business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of B2B commercial experience, including enterprise sales within SaaS, technology, or professional services environments.
  • Demonstrated success personally winning significant enterprise deals, developing strategic client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue growth.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading sales organizations, including managing managers and geographically distributed teams across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop regional sales leaders, improve team performance, and address underperformance effectively.
  • Extensive commercial experience in at least one of the following regions: Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or Asia Pacific. Experience across multiple regions is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience entering new markets or expanding existing operations by overcoming commercial, legal, operational, and market‑specific challenges.
  • Previous experience developing and managing strategic partnerships, with a clear understanding of partner selection, commercial agreements, relationship ownership, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong background in developing industry‑specific sales strategies in collaboration with business leaders, balancing regional market knowledge with broader organizational priorities.
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise sales cycles, navigating complex purchasing processes, and personally leading high‑value negotiations with senior decision‑makers.
  • Excellent commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate market potential, assess investment requirements, prioritize opportunities, and make data‑driven business decisions.
  • Strong understanding of technology, AI‑based solutions, and services delivery, with the ability to identify client needs and connect them with appropriate technical and commercial expertise.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, including experience preparing persuasive proposals, delivering presentations, and providing clear direction to international teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to influence senior executives, clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving business environment while managing competing priorities, complex challenges, and multiple deadlines.
  • A hands‑on leadership mindset, combining strategic thinking with the willingness to personally contribute to sales development, client engagement, and business growth.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing responsibilities, and managing workflows effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to collaborate virtually across different time zones, participate regularly in video meetings, and use digital collaboration tools effectively.
