Job summary

Celonis is seeking a Value Engineer to drive AI- and data-driven transformation for Fortune 500 customers. You will lead end-to-end value journeys, combining consulting, project management and platform adoption to achieve measurable ROI across critical processes.

Work closely with Lead and Principal VEs and with client executives to shape roadmaps, manage globally across multi-region programs, and deliver high-impact solutions leveraging the Celonis Platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex workstreams, customer relationships in value engineering/consulting.
• Strong background in enterprise IT and business software with AI tools.
• Fluent English communication and executive sponsorship experience.

The Team: Value Engineering is responsible for our largest Fortune 500 customers and owns their transformation journey by working on the very frontier of what's possible with data and AI on the Celons Platform. Partnering closely with the Sales team, Value Engineering is responsible for ensuring that the Celonis Platform is deployed to tackle the most strategic business challenges, fits into the right place in our customers' technology stack and most importantly generates strong ROI through deep and broad deployments.

The Role: As a Value Engineer, you will spearhead AI and data-driven business transformation by contributing to your customer’s end-to-end value journey using the Celonis Context Model. Working alongside Lead and Principal VEs, you will combine technical execution with consulting and project management. As an AI-fluent operator, your core mandate is to orchestrate complex roadmaps and execute targeted transformation initiatives that improve how these businesses operate across their ecosystems.

The work you’ll do:

• Value Selling & Realization: Uncover the real issues by peeling back layers of organizational complexity. Own the Outcome from first discovery through realized ROI for your process areas. Tell the Value Story by crafting powerful executive narratives and leading business value workshops.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate powerful executive sponsorship across core business units to champion transformation programs. Co-own change management with customer leaders and design CoE roadmaps that build self-sufficiency.
• Program Management: Steer Global Transformations across complex workstreams. Own and implement AI-driven account planning and AI-assisted project management. Automate executive governance (QBRs, SteerCos) with minimal manual friction.
• Platform & AI Fluency: Act as an AI-fluent operator, utilizing AI tools for rapid technical outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers for deep-dive solution builds. Champion platform adoption.
• Scale Value & Innovation: Build a strategic expansion roadmap embedding Celonis as a strategic platform to drive adoption. Provide feedback to R&D based on evolving customer use cases.

The qualifications you need:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience taking ownership of complex workstreams, process areas, and customer relationships in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales.
• AI & Technical & Fluency: Solid background in enterprise IT and business software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle). You operate primarily as an AI-fluent operator, utilizing AI copilots to generate outputs and automations, avoiding heavy manual coding.
• Builder Mentality: Comfortable setting your own direction within an account team. Driven to live for customer value, proactively hunting and ideating for highest-impact solutions.
• Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven expertise in executing process improvements.
• Strategic Program & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated expertise orchestrating multi-region or business unit transformation programs. Expert at mobilizing VP/Director-level sponsorship. Flawless English communication with commanding executive presence.
• Domain & Industry: Deep understanding of the Finance/Supply Chain domains. You stay continuously updated on business-critical use cases.
• Degree: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, comparable technical degree or a Business/Economics degree paired with a technical minor
