Qualifikationen

• PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Expert in Upstream Processing (USP) or similar biopharmaceutical manufacturing role.
• Fluent communication in German and English (minimum B2).
• Strong technical expertise in upstream manufacturing processes (fermentation, clarification, homogenization, filtration).
• Proven problem-solving skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Lead technology transfers and process implementation for Upstream manufacturing to support from development to commercial production.
• Serve as MSAT Process Expert for Upstream Processing, interfacing between customers, process development, and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure process scalability and manufacturability for fermentation, clarification, homogenization, and filtration operations.
• Apply structured transfer methodologies, risk management, and change control to support implementation.
• Communicate with customers during campaign prep, execution, and closure with regular batch/status reporting.
• Lead investigations and resolution of process-related issues to maintain regulatory and quality standards.
• Drive timely completion of process documentation including deviations, change requests, and campaign reports.
