Job summary

Qualifications

• Background in mathematics or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Register data from underwriting submissions, acceptances and declinations in our IT systems.
• Prepare renewal information so the underwriter can start risk assessment.
• Review contractual wordings for changes from prior years to learn reinsurance basics.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting and Claims Management to provide timely service.
• Maintain an orderly filing system and support client/broker meetings.
• Train new starters or temporary underwriting assistants when needed.
• Participate in back-office projects.
