Job summary

MS Reinsurance in Switzerland is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen our operational capabilities with a focus on business continuity, services, processes and controls within a regulated environment.

The role involves leading the BCM framework, managing resilience risks, and coordinating with IT to ensure robust recovery capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost effectiveness. Fluency in English and German is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience driving change and improving processes in growing organisations.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, operational risk, business continuity and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in business continuity planning, testing and resilience exercises.

• Support operational services, processes, and controls across Facilities, Procurement, Business Continuity, and Property Services.
• Drive service excellence through governance, controls, and continuous process improvements.
• Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end insurance and support function processes.
• Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the BCM Framework.
• Identify and manage critical processes, suppliers, applications, and operational resilience risks.
• Partner with IT to strengthen application resilience and recovery capabilities.
• Lead business continuity testing, recovery planning, and resilience exercises.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Promote BCM and Crisis Management awareness through training and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide support during business continuity incidents and crisis management events.

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to enhance our operational capabilities, with a focus on business continuity, services, processes and controls, to support a rapidly growing standalone organisation within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will ensure our operational infrastructure is scalable, resilient and compliant with regulatory requirements and capable of meeting growth, service and cost management objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Support operational services, processes, and controls across Facilities, Procurement, Business Continuity, and Property Services.
• Drive service excellence through effective governance, controls, and continuous process improvements.

Your profile

• 10+ years of professional experience, including experience driving change and process improvements in growing organisations.
• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Proven experience driving change, improving processes, and leading cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, operational risk, business continuity, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in business continuity planning, testing, and operational resilience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and implement practical solutions.
• Experience developing resilience strategies for critical business applications and services.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English and German.
