Your goal

Being a TS/M&A Associate is the first career step to becoming a dealmaker. You will work for a deal team that guides entrepreneurs in buying or selling a company. You are financially and analytically strong, but above all commercially and socially skilled. You will not merely be working on spreadsheets, you will be involved in the entire process and meet clients and other stakeholders from day one!

In this role, we are also looking for someone with a strong interest in financial due diligence. You will be actively involved in financial analyses, helping to identify key risks and potential deal breakers and, hence, provide our clients a sound basis for their decision. This means you will have the unique opportunity to gain insights in both worlds of Transaction Services and M&A.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence;
  • Preparation of financial factbooks and perform in-depth analyses;
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management;
  • Assist in M&A projects;
  • Engaging in pitching activities and getting to know potential buyers and sellers;
  • Building and maintaining the (Marktlink) network;
  • Broad support of the Manager/Partner during projects.
Your profile
  • You have completed a master’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • You are a social and entrepreneurial person with practical, strategic, tactical and commercial insight;
  • In addition to strong analytical skills, you are punctual highly motivated to learn and progress in your career as well as goal oriented.
  • Demonstrable affinity with the SME (small and mid-size enterprises) sector;
  • An eye for personal relationships and excellent communication skills are essential;
  • Fluency in German is mandatory, Swiss German is a plus;
  • Prior work experience in accounting and/or Transaction Services is a strong advantage.
