Job summary

Masentó Group is seeking a Treasury Consultant (Cash Pool Structuring & Implementation) on an initial 6-month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 onsite days weekly in Geneva, Barcelona or central London.

You will design the cash pool, run the RFP, select banking partners, and implement intercompany funding with SAP and a TMS. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in treasury, hands-on cash pooling experience, and strong stakeholder management, with fluent English.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Masentó are working with an aviation company that requires a Treasury Consultant (Cash Pool Structuring & Implementation) to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This will be a hybrid working position, with 2 days a week onsite in either Geneva, Barcelona or central London.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the cash pool structure and the associated end-to-end process
• Draft the RFP for the cash pool, issue it to banks and assess the responses
• Support selection of the banking partner(s) and review the related contracts
• Define and support the intercompany funding and in-house banking model
• Support implementation of the cash pool, including the technical set-up in SAP and the treasury management system (TMS)
• Work within the scope of the TMS being implemented to ensure the hybrid cash pool is supported
• Manage and communicate with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, IT and external banks
• 10 years + experience
• Proven end-to-end experience of cash pooling at a single organisation: structuring the cash pool, running the RFP and implementing the solution
• Hands-on experience of intercompany funding and building or running in-house banking
• Strong understanding of treasury processes from a cash management perspective
• Working knowledge of treasury management systems and how they integrate with SAP
• Ability to advise on the technical solution, including what is needed in SAP and the TMS
• Experience reviewing banking and related contracts
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken
