TREASURY ANALYST

(Temporary Assignment - Long Term)

Job Description:

• Execute payment transactions accurately and within the required deadlines through the organization's treasury and banking systems
• Review payment instructions, beneficiary information and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and consistency before execution
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies before payments are released
• Apply established payment controls, approval procedures and segregation-of-duties requirements rigorously
• Monitor payment execution and follow up on rejected, delayed or unsuccessful transactions
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, banks and financial institutions to resolve payment-related issues
• Escalate unusual, incomplete or potentially fraudulent payment instructions appropriately
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of payment processes, internal controls and operational efficiency
• Ensure that treasury and payment activities comply with the organization's internal policies, procedures and financial controls
• Maintain clear and complete supporting documentation and audit trails for financial transactions
• Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to information requests
• Contribute to payment fraud prevention initiatives and other treasury control activities
• Monitor and reconcile treasury-related transactions and investigate discrepancies where required
• Prepare treasury reports and financial analyses to support liquidity management and operational decision-making
