Zusammenfassung

Sika's Core Technology team in Sarnen seeks a Scientist to advance projects in thermoplastic systems for construction and automotive applications. Based at the Global Technology Center, you will plan and execute development programs, design experiments, and help translate results into commercial solutions.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering with polymer expertise, strong laboratory skills (NMR, GPC, HPLC, DSC), and a collaborative, agile

Qualifikationen

MSc/PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering with polymer expertise.
Experience with NMR, GPC, HPLC, DSC and thermoplastic processing is beneficial.
Good English; German knowledge is a plus.

Aufgaben

Plan and execute projects to develop products for construction and automotive industries.
Design and characterize minimum viable products using thermoplastic processing techniques.
Support practical implementation and troubleshoot formulation or processing issues.
Research state-of-the-art via literature, patents, and market information.
Analyze data, document results, and prepare reports and patent applications.
Collaborate with external partners and manage joint projects.
Lead project teams in an agile environment.
