Job summary

Balyasny Asset Management seeks an exceptional Thematic L/S Equity Analyst to join its Genève team. The role focuses on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations in publicly listed equities and related derivatives.

You will generate ideas through top-down and bottoms-up analysis, support in financial statement review and consensus models, and communicate with industry and sell-side contacts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equity research on publicly listed companies.
• Strong passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors.
• Advanced understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (location preference Zug).

Responsibilities

• Invest and trade publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives.
• Generate ideas through top-down and bottoms-up fundamental work.
• Support financial statement analysis, cash flows, and models.
• Communicate with industry and sell-side contacts.
