Job summary

GE Vernova in Switzerland seeks a professional to manage offers for technical projects. You will study requests, identify risks, clarify customer requirements, and prepare comprehensive offers with cost calculations and warranty data.

You will track quotations and ensure smooth handover and compliance with EHS and internal standards. Fluent German and English are essential, with a technical education or university degree.

Responsibilities

• Project management: study documents, identify risks, clarify requirements with stakeholders, participate in technical meetings.
• Offer preparation: cost calculation, prepare detailed scope, standards and warranty data, assess risks, submit by deadline, file and store offers.
• Offer tracking: assist in quotation tracking with the sales manager.
• Project handover: update offers as needed, complete handover documents, attend transfer meeting with ITO-team.
• Compliance with EHS and company values and QA/management system.

Tasks

Project management:
- Detailed study of documents of the request

- Occasional business trips to participate in technical project meetings 2 Offer preparation:
- Cost calculation
- Preparation of offer documents including detailed scope of supply, technical standards and warranty data
- Determine technical risks in accordance with quality guidelines
- Submission of the offer based on the required date
- File and store the offer 3 Offer tracking:
- Support in quotation tracking in collaboration with the sales manager. 4 Project handover:
- Check and update the offer if necessary
- Fill out the necessary handover documents
- Attendance at transfer meeting with ITO-team 5 Compliance with company values and internal environmental, health and safety regulations (EHS). Compliance with the management system relevant to the position

Requirements

• Technical education and (technical) University degree
• Good experience in the area of offer management
• Relevant experience in a technical environment
• Written and spoken German and English is essential for this job

Key performance indicators:

• Correct risk assessment, identification of opportunities, correct transfer of customer requirements to our options, number of processed offers
• Submitting the offer and costs, including risk analysis and assessment based on the agreed TDD
• Smooth collaboration with sales manager, response time for inquiries Complete handover documents, smooth transfers
• Customer satisfaction, collaboration efficiency
