IVECO (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for the bus business, covering the DACH region. You will act as the central technical reference, provide dealer and partner support, and diagnose complex vehicle issues to develop sustainable repair concepts.

You will collaborate with international teams, participate in advanced diagnostics, and travel regionally about half the time. Fluency in German and English is required, with a driving license and willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education in commercial vehicles or automotive engineering.
• Several years' diagnostics and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of CAN bus systems and diagnostic tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
• German and English language skills required.

What you can expect

• Act as the central technical reference for the bus business within IVECO
• Provide technical support and guidance to dealers and service partners across the DACH region
• Analyse and diagnose complex technical issues on our vehicles
• Develop sustainable repair and solution concepts in collaboration with international manufacturing plants and engineering teams
• Support technical escalations and advanced diagnostic activities
• Approximately 50% travel within the DACH region, including on-site visits to dealers, workshops, and customers
• Conduct technical vehicle analyses for complex or recurring issues
• Document and follow up technical cases using the relevant systems
• Identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to quality and product enhancement initiatives
• Work closely with international experts, engineering departments, and technical specialists
• Contribute to the continuous development of technical service and support processes

What you bring

• Completed technical education in commercial vehicles, automotive engineering, vehicle technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of commercial vehicles or complex vehicle systems
• In-depth knowledge of modern diagnostic systems and structured fault-finding methodologies
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
• Experience in the bus, commercial vehicle, or heavy vehicle industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of CAN bus systems and diagnostic tools is considered a plus
• Independent, analytical, and structured way of working
• Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers, workshops, and technical professionals
• German language skills and excellent written and spoken English are mandatory, as English is the primary language used for communication with international teams and management
• Additional language skills, such as French, are an advantage
• Valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region
