IVECO (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for the bus business to act as the central technical reference across the DACH region. The role involves providing expert technical support to dealers and service partners, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and developing sustainable repair concepts with international teams.

The ideal candidate has completed technical education in automotive fields, several years of diagnostics experience, and strong German and English communication

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education in commercial vehicles, automotive engineering, vehicle technology or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of commercial vehicles or complex vehicle systems.
• In-depth knowledge of modern diagnostic systems and structured fault-finding methodologies.

Aufgaben

• Act as the central technical reference for the bus business within IVECO.
• Provide technical support and guidance to dealers and service partners across the DACH region.
• Analyse and diagnose complex technical issues on our vehicles.
• Develop sustainable repair and solution concepts in collaboration with international manufacturing plants and engineering teams.
• Support technical escalations and advanced diagnostic activities.
• Approximately 50% travel within the DACH region, including on-site visits to dealers, workshops, and customers.
• Document and follow up technical cases using the relevant systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to quality and product enhancement initiatives.
• Work closely with international experts, engineering departments, and technical specialists.
• Contribute to the continuous development of technical service and support processes.

What you bring

• Completed technical education in commercial vehicles, automotive engineering, vehicle technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field


• Several years of experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of commercial vehicles or complex vehicle systems
  
• In-depth knowledge of modern diagnostic systems and structured fault-finding methodologies


• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems


• Experience in the bus, commercial vehicle, or heavy vehicle industry is an advantage


• Knowledge of CAN bus systems and diagnostic tools is considered a plus


• Independent, analytical, and structured way of working


• Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers, workshops, and technical professionals


• German language skills and excellent written and spoken English are mandatory, as English is the primary language used for communication with international teams and management


• Additional language skills, such as French, are an advantage


• Valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region
