As a Technical Support Specialist you will support users in the operation of corporate information systems while maintaining the full IT setup of the local office. What You’ll Do

• Providing support to users both online and offline for corporate hardware and software issues
• Performing initial diagnostics when hardware or software problems occur
• Restoring devices and systems to working order, except for complex or major repairs
• Setting up new computers (laptops and desktops) for users, whether on Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Installing and connecting office equipment like printers and scanners to the office computer networks
• Checking, in some cases, configuring network equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Handling the transfer of faulty equipment for repairs and confirming it’s back in working condition afterward
• Assisting with the purchase of necessary equipment by helping to define requirements and accepting deliveries
• Managing user accounts within our information systems
• Setting up user access permissions for the company's IT resources
• Keeping an eye on equipment performance, network operation, and user activity to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Creating user guides to help staff effectively use equipment and software

What You’ll Need

• Degree in information technology or similar
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role with a wide range of responsibilities
• Proficiency in Linux and its installation and administration
• Configuration and use of virtualization of computing resources
• Experience in configuring and supporting engineering software (CAD, PLM, CFD, etc.)
• Knowledge and management of Microsoft 365 & Active Directory (users, groups, etc.)
• Setting up network equipment including switches, firewalls
• Organization of work with remote users (remote work and support tools, communication)
• Fluency in English
