Job summary

ABB is seeking a Service Sales Support Specialist in Switzerland to develop customer quotations for service solutions related to electrical switchgear. You will work with Service Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Field Service teams to define technically feasible, commercially competitive proposals, while ensuring clear and structured documentation.

The role is based in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with switchgear, strong technical knowledge of

Qualifications

Technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
Practical experience with low- or medium-voltage switchgear.
Strong technical understanding of electrical power distribution and switchgear components.
Ability to translate technical requirements into clear customer proposals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with cost calculations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer inquiries and quotation requests for service, retrofit, and modernization solutions related to electrical switchgear.
Define the scope of work, main components, and service deliverables based on technical requirements and practical feasibility.
Assess technical feasibility and solution availability in close collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, and Field Service teams.
Prepare cost calculations and technical sales documentation to support competitive and risk-conscious customer proposals.
