ABB Schweiz AG in Baden (AG) is seeking a Project Engineer (80%-100%) to act as the technical authority for electrical engineering projects with low to medium complexity in the service business. The role is hybrid, located in Baden (AG), with a 100% workload and immediate start.

You will configure products, create electrical schematics using EPLAN, and prepare simple mechanical drawings with AutoCAD. You will perform selectivity calculations and support testing, commissioning, and project

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as an electrician or automation technician plus HF/FH or equivalent
• At least 2 years of professional experience in project engineering, ideally in energy technology
• Very good CAD skills in EPLAN Electric P8; AutoCAD skills are an advantage
• Technical understanding of power supply systems design (MV/LV/emergency) with LV switchgear
• Fluent in German and English; French an advantage

Responsabilités

• Product configuration and creation of electrical schematics using EPLAN
• Preparation of simple mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
• Creation of selectivity calculations
• Execution of type testing for non‑standard configurations
• Technical support during tests and commissioning and support of project management in reviews and meetings
• Development of effort estimates and feasibility recommendations for the quotation team
• Preparation of system documentation, as‑built documents and acceptance records
