Job summary

WIRTH is a Swiss contract manufacturer specializing in industrial sheet metal processing, surface coating, and assembly. We seek a Technical Sales Consultant to grow our customer base, negotiate contracts, and translate technical drawings into compelling offers.

You will calculate offers, adjust pricing for material changes, and manage orders end-to-end, while advancing market knowledge and customer relationships in a small, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background in metal processing is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal processing and related manufacturing processes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Windows, MS Office and CRM systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Care for customers and acquire new customers.
• Contract negotiations with customers.
• Pricing, offers, and follow-up of orders for parts or assemblies.
• Create offer calculations for new parts or assemblies from drawings.
• Recalculate prices due to raw material or index changes.
• Post-calculation of orders.
• Identify and qualify potential customers and markets.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant Sheet Metal Processing (m/f/d).

YOUR TASKS

• Care for customers as well as acquisition of new customers
• Contract negotiations with customers
• Pricing and active sales and follow-up of existing and new products
• Creating offer calculations and offers for new individual parts or entire assemblies based on customer drawings and possible product and process optimizations
• Recalculation of existing individual parts or assemblies in case of price adjustments caused by raw material, purchasing, or index changes
• Post-calculation of individual orders
• Systematic identification, approach, and qualification of potential customers
• Analysis of target markets, industry potentials, and competitors (market observation)

YOUR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL PROFILE

• Technical training in the metal processing industry (mechanic, plant and apparatus builder)
• Further training as a sales specialist / Key Account Manager
• Further training / in training to become a Dipl. Technician HF Mechanical Engineering or similar desired
• Good knowledge in sheet metal processing, as well as Windows and MS Office
• Familiarity with modern sales methods and CRM systems (lead management)
• Hunter mentality: High self-initiative, negotiation skills, and closing strength
• Frustration tolerance & perseverance: High self-motivation in dealing with rejections in cold calling
• Responsible, structured working style, communicative, and team-oriented
