ANSAM Group in Western Switzerland seeks a Technical Services Engineer to design, build, and operate the technical backbone supporting a major application transformation programme. You will develop and integrate microservices-based solutions, ensure connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments, and support DevOps practices and automation within a collaborative, hands-on team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Proven experience in microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid architectures (Alibaba Cloud, Azure, AWS).
• Solid DevOps, CI/CD, and automation expertise.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement microservices-based components aligned with established architecture principles.
• Build and maintain integrations across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Support the decomposition of legacy application components into independent services with clear boundaries.
• Implement API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
• Operate across multiple runtime environments, including VMs, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure the adoption of software quality standards, including testing, security scanning, and code reviews.
• Develop components compatible with CI/CD pipelines and IaC standards.
• Contribute to monitoring and observability capabilities, including logs, tracing, and metrics.
• Provide hands-on technical support to solution teams during migrations.
• Work with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure reliable delivery and operation.

We are looking for a Technical Services Engineer to design, build, and operate the technical backbone supporting a major application transformation programme.

The role focuses on developing and integrating microservices-based solutions, ensuring reliable connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments, and supporting modern DevOps practices and automation.

You will collaborate closely with solution teams to design scalable services, support application migrations, and ensure that technical solutions meet established standards for integration, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsabilities

• Design and implement microservices-based components aligned with established architecture principles.
• Build and maintain integrations across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Support the decomposition of legacy application components into independent services with clear boundaries.
• Implement API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
• Operate across multiple runtime environments, including virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure the adoption of software quality standards, including testing, security scanning, and code reviews.
• Develop components compatible with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code standards.
• Contribute to monitoring and observability capabilities, including logs, tracing, and metrics.
• Provide hands-on technical support to solution teams throughout migration activities.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure reliable delivery and operation.

Key Skills & Experience

• University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical engineering roles, ideally within complex transformation or modernisation programmes.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working with multi-cloud like (Alibaba Cloud, Azure, AWS) and hybrid architectures
• Solid expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation.
• Good knowledge of API management, messaging systems, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with containerisation technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database integration.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, .NET and Azure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, DevOps teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative, hands-on, and service-oriented mindset.
