Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG in Stans (NW) seeks a Team Leader Reliability and Maintainability Engineering to guide the Reliability & Maintainability team, including GSE responsibilities. You will drive RCAs, FRACAS, and HUMS projects, aligning targets with senior management.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 10+ years in aircraft reliability and maintenance, and English at B1 level. This permanent position offers 100% workload and Swiss work conditions.

Qualifications

• University degree in aeronautical or mechanical/electrical engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in aircraft maintenance and reliability aspects.
• Written and spoken English; B1 level required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Reliability & Maintainability Engineering Team, including Ground Support Equipment.
• Perform reliability, availability and maintainability assessments and report to senior management.
• Define, control and monitor reliability, availability and maintainability concepts, targets and requirements.
• Manage and maintain the FRACAS system and database.
• Lead the design and development of HUMS for a dedicated product.
• Prepare departmental workload forecasts, resource estimations and budget planning.

Your Tasks

• Lead and manage the Reliability & Maintainability Engineering Team, including responsibility for Ground Support Equipment
• Perform reliability, availability and maintainability assessments and provide regular reporting to senior management
• Define, control and monitor reliability, availability and maintainability concepts, targets and requirements
• Manage and maintain the Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and associated database
• Lead the design and development of the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) for a dedicated product
• Prepare departmental workload forecasts, resource estimations, and budget planning

With this you convince us

• University degree or equivalent in aeronautical or mechanical/electrical engineering
• Professional, qualified engineer with over 10 years' experience of aircraft maintenance and reliability aspects
• written and spoken English; B1 level is required
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure correct prioritization of tasks to meet a set schedule
• Supplier management skills, including contract agreements and support for supplier negotiations concerning reliability goals
• The ability to motivate colleagues and staff under challenging situations
