Job summary

SIS Swiss International School Schweiz AG in Rotkreuz is seeking a Teaching Assistant 100% to support the primary teaching team. You will assist the lead teacher, help implement activities, and supervise students during daily routines.

The role welcomes candidates with vocational education and experience, or an international pedagogical education related to music, dance, drama, or early childhood studies. The position may also be shared 50%.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational education with at least two years of experience.
• International pedagogical education (e.g. music, dance, drama).
• Or an education in the field of early childhood or health.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the primary intro teacher during lessons.
• Helping to plan and carry out activities (crafts, painting, playing, reading, etc.).
• Planning and attending outings, supervising children on school premises and in the schoolyard.
• Lunch duties.
• Holiday club (up to five weeks per year).

Teaching Assistant 100 %

SIS Swiss International School operates 19 bilingual, private day schools in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil and Italy. Around 5,000 students attend our classes from kindergarten through to college. They come from local as well as from international families and learn in (or Portuguese or Italian) and in English.

At our school in Rotkreuz, we teach around 100 students from preschool to primary school. As of 1 January or February 2027 we have an opening for a Teaching Assistant 100 %. It could also be a shared 50 % position.

Your profile:
