Job summary

Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. is seeking a System Engineer to oversee core banking applications, ensuring smooth operation and rapid incident resolution. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize COB processing with tools like JBoss, Oracle DB, TAFJ, DSF, and Dynatrace.

You will join an expert team dedicated to on-call support, change management, and weekend releases, contributing to automation and knowledge base upkeep.

Qualifications

• Completed IT education in computer science or related field.
• Experience in T24 operations and monitoring.
• Familiarity with banking tech and ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate core banking applications in 2nd level support.
• Process incident tickets within SLAs.
• Coordinate between incident managers, app owners and 3rd level support.
• Take weekly on-call duties (7x24).
• Administer change requests and weekend releases.
• Contribute to operational projects for existing/new apps.
• Perform routine data cleansing and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Keep operation documentation up to date.
