Zusammenfassung

Angst+Pfister AG in Dübendorf, as part of our Group Engineering team, offers a hands-on opportunity to work on sensors, test systems and automation in a young, international environment. You will help program machines, contribute to a new lab setup and deliver engineering documentation to support development projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with strong English and German skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s may be sufficient in suitable cases.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, electronics and control theory.
• Strong programming background in C#, Python and PLCs.
• Experience building machines is a plus.
• Good English and German communication.

Aufgaben

• Support or lead R&D projects related to sensors, test machines and automation.
• Manage programming/automation of machines and a production MES.
• Design, construct and maintain advanced test benches in the lab.

YOUR MISSION

• You support or lead Research & Development projects within the Group Engineering which are related to sensors, test machines and automation.
• You manage the programming/automation of different machines and of a production MES.
• You design, construct, improve and maintain advanced test benches in our lab.
• You support the layout definition and the organization of a new lab/building.
• You design and perform initial sample/proof-of-concept tests.
• You prepare engineering documentation and presentations.
• Organize and/or contribute in meetings/events with internal and external parties.
• Planning of projects and risk estimations against technical unforeseen and potential delays.
• You carry out several activities with customer orientation and you collaborate with international teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Systems and Controls, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent. In suitable cases of relevant expertise in the field, a Bachelor’s degree can be considered sufficient.
• Expertise in sensors, actuators, electronics and control systems theory.
• Solid background in mechanical engineering and programming (e.g. C#, WinForms, MS SQL, PLC from Siemens/Beckhoff/B&R, Python and Arduino)
• Practical experience in building machines is a plus
• Know-how in electric circuits design and usage of suitable E-CAD tools is a plus
• Ability to promote continuous improvement while achieving the desired results.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Professional level in English and German.
