Job summary

Michael Bailey Associates GmbH is recruiting for Systems Engineer / System Administrator across Switzerland with hybrid work. Open to junior and senior professionals, location flexible across multiple Swiss offices.

German language is mandatory with good English; responsibilities include developing and supporting Modern Workplace, private cloud VDI, multicloud environments, AD/GP, Microsoft 365. The role offers flexible hours and development support.

Qualifications

• Completed education or training in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud desktop technologies such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support and enhance Modern Workplace solutions including Private Cloud VDI and multicloud environments.
• Develop new product standards based on customer requirements.
• Support technical project managers throughout IT projects.
• Deliver the technical implementation of private and multicloud customer projects.
• Provide 3rd-level support for system architectures and troubleshooting complex issues.

Systems Engineer / System Administrator (Junior to Senior)

Location: Multiple offices locations to pick from across Switzerland

Working Model: Hybrid

Employment Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for multiple Systems Engineer / System Administrators across Switzerland, offering opportunities for both junior and senior professionals.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, support and further enhance Modern Workplace solutions, including Private Cloud VDI and Multicloud Modern Workplace environments.
• Develop new product standards based on customer requirements.
• Support technical project managers throughout IT projects.
• Deliver the technical implementation of private and multicloud customer projects.
• Provide 3rd-level support for system architectures, including troubleshooting and analysis of complex technical issues.

Your Profile

• Completed education or further training in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with cloud desktop technologies such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Veeam Backup.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID and Defender, as well as multicloud environments.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Independent, structured and analytical approach to work, with strong teamwork skills.
