Job summary

Energy Infrastructure Partners AG seeks a Swiss-qualified Legal Counsel for a 6 to 12 month fixed-term role in our General Counsel department. You will advise on Swiss financial market regulation, liaise with FINMA, and support cross-border matters including Luxembourg and Singapore affiliates.

Strong drafting skills and in-house asset management experience are essential. You will work with senior professionals across a national and international environment, focusing on corporate governance,

Qualifications

• Swiss Master’s degree in Law and bar admission required.
• 7–10 years in-house experience within asset management or similar investment organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss financial market regulation (FINIA, FINSA, CISA, BVV 2, ASV) and FINMA.
• Knowledge of EU financial market regulations (AIFMD, MiFID II, SFDR).
• Experience with Luxembourg fund structures or law is desirable.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a practical approach.
• German mother tongue; fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Swiss financial market legislation, including FINIA, FINSA, CISA, ASV and BVV2, and FINMA requirements.
• Lead Swiss regulatory and cross-border matters with a Swiss focus, including interactions with FINMA and other authorities.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements (investment management, placement agent, introducer, service agreements).
• Support Luxembourg affiliate on legal matters related to private market funds and structures.
• Assist Singapore affiliate on legal matters connected to distribution and fundraising.
• Provide governance and regulatory advice from a Swiss perspective; liaise with Compliance, Risk, and Company Secretary.
