Job summary

Standard Chartered Plc in Switzerland seeks a senior finance leader to head the finance, treasury, tax, regulatory reporting and control functions for the Swiss entity. You will partner with regulators, the CEO and the board to ensure financial readiness and strong governance ahead of the banking licence.

This role demands building a high-performing finance organisation, delivering robust controls, strategic stakeholder management and timely delivery of regulatory commitments across the Swiss

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial reporting, financial control or regulatory reporting in a regulated environment.
• Experience operating within complex governance structures.
• Experience delivering outcomes through direct leadership and influence.
• Experience supporting regulatory initiatives or finance transformation initiatives.
• Internationally-recognised professional accounting qualification, or Swiss Advanced Federal Diploma preferred.
• English – Required.
• French, German or Italian – Nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, financial control and regulatory reporting for the Swiss entity.
• Maintain governance over capital, liquidity, balance sheet and financial risks.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance function with robust controls.
• Provide independent financial stewardship to the CEO, Board and committees.
• Support establishment of the Swiss entity and licence readiness.
• Lead development of finance, treasury, tax, regulatory reporting and control capabilities.
• Partner with regulators and stakeholders to demonstrate readiness and compliance.
• Ensure the finance operating model and systems are fit for purpose ahead of licence.
