Partners Group is launching a Summer Analyst Program to diversify the private markets field by inviting talented female candidates. The program is hands-on, teaching financial analysis, data literacy and AI-enabled tools to assess opportunities.

Successful completion may lead to a full-time Financial Analyst Program offer. The 9-week program starts June 16, 2027, with a rolling Oct 30, 2026 deadline, and requires eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Women are underrepresented in the private markets industry. Partners Group has created this Summer Analyst Program to reduce this gap, exclusively targeting talented female candidates across academic fields who are interested in exploring a career in private markets.

The Summer Analyst Program is a hands-on program designed to equip successful applicants with the financial, analytical, data, and technology-enabled skills required to succeed in private markets investing.

Participants will learn how investment professionals combine commercial judgement, financial analysis, industry research, data, and digital tools to assess markets and investment opportunities. Successful completion of the Program could lead to the offer of a position in our full-time Financial Analyst Program.

What we expect

• Outstanding academic credentials:The Program is open to penultimate and final year undergraduate and graduate level students. We accept candidates from any field of study, including engineering, computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, business, law, humanities and social sciences. Candidates should be able to explain how their academic background and interests can contribute to private markets investing
• Strong analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity: Investing in private markets requires professionals who enjoy mastering new skills and solving problems in a high-pressure environment
• Data literacy and structured problem solving: Candidates should be comfortable working with data, assessing its quality, identifying patterns, and presenting conclusions
• Data and AI fluency: Candidates must be able to use digital and AI tools. We value critical thinking, awareness of limitations, and responsible judgement. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how they use technology to improve the quality, efficiency, and structure of their work
• Interest in technology-enabled ways of working: Candidates should be curious about how AI is influencing investment processes and financial markets. Exposure and/or experience with coding, data visualization, statistical analysis and/or workflow automation is expected
• Excellent communication and collaboration: Candidates must be able to explain complex ideas in simple language, write clearly, listen actively, and work effectively with colleagues from different professional and academic backgrounds
• Energy and passion: Candidates must have an ownership mindset, strong work ethic, and maintain high standards while contributing to the team
• Our business language is English: Additional languages are highly valued but not required

What we offer

• Comprehensive private markets investment training with the potential for a permanent position with the firm:Participants will gain exposure to live investment opportunities and be considered for full-time employment after the conclusion of the program.
• On-the-job exposure across a wide range of industries, geographies and live transaction situations: Program participants will spend the summer in one of our investment teams (private equity – health & life, goods & products, services, technology and partnership – real estate, infrastructure or royalties) where they will gain exposure to all the stages of a private markets transactions, from investment sourcing, assessment, and due diligence to closing and managing portfolio assets.
• Independent investment project: Over the course of the summer, each participant will develop an investment opportunity that they will propose to their team. This provides exposure to all aspects of investment analysis. Previous proposals have progressed to be actively pursued investment opportunities.
• Mentorship: Mentorship from experienced investment professionalsand continuous exposure to senior members of the firm through the course of training and business activities.
