LGT Capital Partners is seeking a student to join the Private Markets Transaction Tax and Tax Structuring team in Switzerland. The role offers part-time flexibility during studies, with a view to a longer commitment of at least two years and involvement in investment tax workstreams.

You will assist with coordinating tax workstreams across private equity, infrastructure and other investments while improving processes and digital tools used by the team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Law or a related Tax field.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.
• Strong interest in enhancing financial acumen and tax risk management.

Job Description

Starting in October 2026, this position offers a unique opportunity to join our Private Markets Transaction Tax and Tax Structuring team and be part of a small dynamic team of tax lawyers responsible for internal tax review and tax risk management associated with the firm’s private market investments and fund structures. It is designed as a full-time role during semester breaks, with flexibility during studies three working days per week.

Your Main Tasks As Student Support Would Include

• Assisting with the coordination of tax workstreams relating to private equity, infrastructure, private credit and other investment transactions;
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and the use of digital tools within the team;
• Supporting the management of the team inbox and coordinating incoming requests;
• Assisting with the collection, organization and filing of tax, legal and transaction-related documentation;
• Assisting with the review of investment subscription and onboarding documentation for completeness and consistency;
• Preparing document packages and supporting signing and document execution processes for investment transactions;
• Maintaining transaction trackers, internal databases and reporting tools;
• Comparing, compiling and organizing documents received from fund managers, service providers and advisors;
• Supporting the preparation of presentations, status updates and internal meeting materials;
• Assisting in coordinating with internal teams, external counsel and tax advisors on administrative and project-related matters.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor or beginning of master’s degree in Law or a related Legal and/or Tax subject
• Excellent English writing and communication skills, including personal or professional experience in an English-speaking environment;
• Strong interest in enhancing financial acumen and broadening knowledge of the tax risk management associated with the firm’s private market investments and fund structures
• Good organizational skills.
