Job summary

ETH Zurich invites applications for a Post-doctoral researcher in Science, Technology and Society (STS) within the Ethics, Technology and Society group of the D-GESS department. The full-time position is limited to two years, with possible extension, and follows ETH Zurich's fixed salary scales.

Qualifications

• PhD completed by January 2027 or within the last 2 years in STS or related field (History/Philosophy of Science, Anthropology, etc.).
• Strong research profile with publications and/or teaching in STS.
• Interest in humanities pedagogy and science-society interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative STS research as part of the SNSF-funded project.
• Publish in international journals; co-author papers.
• Engage with ETH Zürich and wider STS community; organize events and support project activities.
• Co-develop and co-teach MA and Bachelor level courses.
