Job summary

MMG Management Consulting GmbH in Zurich seeks a Consultant – Sourcing (80%–100%) to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for clients and own projects with senior support. You will identify suppliers, contribute to negotiations, and present clear docs, while coordinating with internal and client teams.

The role requires a solid foundation in strategic sourcing, the ability to work independently, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in consulting or strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in German (Swiss German preferred) and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for clients with senior support on complex engagements.
• Identify, select, and evaluate suppliers.
• Contribute to contract negotiations with vendors.
• Prepare and present clear, well-structured presentations, documentation, and reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with client objectives.
• Contribute ideas to the strategic direction of the sourcing department.
• Support the implementation of sourcing tools and technologies.
