Job summary

World Economic Forum in Geneva is seeking a temporary Specialist to shape and deliver the Transforming Industrial Ecosystems (TIE) programme. You will manage projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage senior stakeholders to advance industrial transformation and energy transition initiatives.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex topics into actionable programmes and compelling narratives for leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international relations, sustainability, energy, or related field.
• 6–7 years of relevant experience in energy transition, industrial transformation, decarbonization, energy systems, or climate policy.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, research initiatives, or programmes.
• Strong analytical and data-management skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented with strong organizational skills and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Lead selected Transforming Industrial Ecosystems (TIE) programme projects and TIC workstreams from scoping to delivery and follow-up.
• Develop project plans, milestones, governance, and coordinate internal and external teams.
• Support industrial clusters in developing shared visions and action plans for transformation.
• Monitor progress, capture lessons, and provide updates to leadership.
• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders from companies, governments, and international orgs.
• Lead partner engagement strategies for TIC and broader TIE Programme.
