Zusammenfassung

RIVR, part of Amazon is seeking a Finance professional to accelerate integration into Amazon’s financial process, blending new business process development, optimization, automation and transition. The role begins with a heavily process-focused month before shifting toward FP&A and strategic product finance over time.

The position covers M&A integration finance support, month-end close, forecasting and planning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of finance or accounting experience.
• Experience building automated reporting solutions (AI Workflows, QuickSight, or similar).
• Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis for a Product or Service based industry (Tech, Manufacturing, Logistics etc.).
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and financial systems.
• Experience with month-end close processes as well as SwissCo and GAAP accounting principles.

Aufgaben

• Support the financial integration of a newly acquired company into Amazon systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Finance Ops, accounting, treasury, tax, and business teams to migrate financial data and processes.
• Manage manual components of the Finance process until integration into Amazon's automated systems (targeted for Q4 2026).
• Develop and maintain integration project trackers, identifying risks and escalating blockers to leadership.
• Build bridge reporting between legacy and Amazon financial systems during the transition period.
• Support Day 1 readiness activities including system cutover planning and validation.
• Create and document new SOPs for integrated financial processes.
• Own and execute month-end close activities with 3rd party Accounting and Amazon teams.
• Prepare and review financial and management reporting packages.
• Partner with accounting to ensure accurate and timely close within Amazon's reporting calendar.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce close cycle time.
• Ensure complete and accurate submissions of supporting documentation and general ledger.
• Build and maintain financial models to support monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual planning (OP1/OP2).
• Analyze financial results vs. forecast and prior periods with variance explanations.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop bottoms-up forecasts and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
