Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Engagement Manager to lead delivery of healthcare and life sciences transformation programs, coordinating 50+ person teams of AWS builders, partners, and customers to deliver AI-native, enterprise modernization outcomes.

You will orchestrate multi-workstream delivery, manage program governance, and ensure customer business outcomes while navigating risks and interdependencies across a global ProServe team.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture executive relationships (VP+) delivering strategic counsel on program direction, health, risks, and trade-offs for executive decisions.
• Proactively manage interdependencies, mitigate risks, and drive accountability for program outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Orchestrate across business lines, IT, and partner teams; align priorities and timelines, escalating blockers for resolution.
• Define and track measurable customer outcomes (e.g., time-to-market) as the north star for success, translating progress into ROI narratives.
• Own the program financial health: forecasting, revenue recognition, change requests, and scope management for fixed-price milestones.
• Lead human and agent builder teams, establishing operating models and responsible AI guardrails as AI-augmented delivery grows.
• Drive adoption of AI-DLC methodologies across programs, establishing governance for AI-native builds and steering multi-agent systems.
• Establish governance for agentic AI in delivery—observability, cost controls, human-in-the-loop, and compliance (HIPAA, GxP).
• Proactively surface ideas on how ProServe and other AWS teams can innovate to accelerate customer goals and scale.
