Job summary

Lonza in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a strategic and operational partner to the Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer and Head of CEO Office, enabling prioritization, governance and execution across the Intelligence & Analytics agenda and the CEO Office.

The role connects strategy with delivery, provides high-quality decision support, coordinates critical cross-functional topics and ensures commitments, risks and dependencies are managed with pace, discretion and rigor.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Many years of experience in corporate strategy, market intelligence or related fields.
• Strong analytical background with market research and financial modelling.
• Ability to analyse complex business problems and present clear recommendations.
• Excellent storytelling and engagement with senior leaders.
• Experience in pharma/biotech life sciences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, supporting prioritization.
• Synthesize market, customer, competitor and AI topics into decision-ready materials.
• Translate priorities into an integrated roadmap with milestones and success measures.
• Establish governance and operating rhythms across the function and leadership meetings.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning Intelligence, Analytics, IT, HR, Finance.
• Prepare agendas and briefings for CEO Office and leadership engagements.
• Track delivery, surface risks and drive disciplined follow-through.
