Job summary

IonQ, Inc. is seeking a Staff QA Engineer to own QA for PQC hardware acceleration in HSM/network devices. You will define system‑level test plans, automate testing, and drive certification readiness across hardware, firmware, drivers, and cryptographic APIs.

You will build regression suites, hardware‑in‑the‑loop benches, and ensure compliance test campaigns (FIPS, CNSA, ACVP/CAVP) align with release criteria. Fluency in English is required, with additional European language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Experienced system‑test/QA engineer for embedded or hardware products with strong automation skills.
• You have built test automation and integrated it into CI.
• Fluency in English; French or German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute system‑level test plans for FPGA‑based cryptographic hardware products.
• Build and maintain automated QA infrastructure and CI integration; run compliance test campaigns.
