Ripple seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in Custody. You will design and implement secure enclave‑based platforms to isolate and protect cryptographic operations, engaging with trusted execution environments to deploy highly isolated components while maintaining reliability, operability, and developer velocity.

You will mentor engineers, shape secure architectures across custody infrastructure, and collaborate with cryptography, security, and product teams.

Qualifikationen

• Ten+ years in production software/infrastructure
• Experience with enclave-based or confidential computing platforms
• Strong programming skills in systems/backend languages
• Experience protecting highly sensitive data and cryptographic keys
• Understanding of cryptography concepts and secure communications

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate enclave infrastructure for cryptographic workloads
• Develop platform abstractions for reliable enclave deployment
• Evaluate TEEs across cloud providers (AWS/GCP/IBM/Azure)
• Build secure communication patterns between enclaves and services
• Partner with security and engineering teams to define secure architectures
• Lead threat modeling and design/implementation reviews
• Improve operational maturity for enclave workloads
• Mentor senior engineers and influence platform direction
• Contribute to security standards and long-term strategy
