Zusammenfassung

Ripple is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team within Custody. You will shape engineering practices, ensure reliability across a multi-cloud platform, and empower teams to deliver features quickly and safely.

You will lead infrastructure design across Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud, implement observability, automation, and incident response, and mentor engineers while contributing to tooling and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Ten+ years in software/platform engineering or related fields for production systems.
• Experience managing blockchain nodes with high availability and failover.
• Strong experience with multi-cloud infrastructures and security-sensitive environments.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of containers and Kubernetes in HA setups.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud.
• Lead architecture and reliability improvements for custody services.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability for distributed systems.
• Own blockchain node infrastructure, including high availability and provider management.
• Build automation for provisioning, deployments, testing, and incident response.
• Drive deployment operations and release reliability for services.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks before they impact customers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve incident response and post-incident learning.
• Contribute to internal platform tools, services, and developer workflows.
• Create runbooks and operational procedures, and mentor engineers.
